Search Entries
A name, location, or other term entered into a search box is sent to the third-party company that operates that tool. Gates County Released Inmates does not store or log those search terms on its own systems.
Messages
An email or contact-form message may be retained long enough to answer and maintain the exchange. We do not share those messages outside the organization unless the law requires disclosure.
Automatic Technical Details
Ordinary server, analytics, and advertising systems can collect technical details when a page loads, including:
- the network IP address;
- browser name and version;
- device category and operating system;
- pages viewed and time spent on them;
- the referring site, when supplied; and
- date and time records.
Cookie Controls

The site is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. Contact us if a minor submitted information so it can be reviewed and deleted where appropriate.
